New Label "Environmentally Hazardous" in Transport Law (Dangerous Goods) - available from Nov.`08
The criteria "environmentally hazardous" (aquatic environment) must be taken into account for the classification of all dangerous goods from 2009 on. This regulation applies, regardless whether the dangerous goods are already classified in one or more dangerous goods classes. In future the criteria "environmentally hazardous" will be labelled as an additional risk in transport law. This is one consequence of the new GHS (Globally Harmonized System) on the transport law.
