Transport of lithium-metal or lithium-ion batteries should be carried out according to the IATA DGR and IMDG Code regulations in the dangerous goods transport.
The U.S. Logistics / Dangerous Goods Training / Consulting Office has created an English interactive flow chart for sea and air transport for the transportation of lithium batteries and has published it on the Internet.
